In rural Robeson County, North Carolina, a classmate and I spoke with current residents about what life is like in a county with one of the highest poverty and crime rates in the state.  Uploaded to our student website, Pavement Pieces, we explored what life is like for students and residents in the days leading up to the presidential election. 

Over four weeks in summer 2022, a group of journalism students, myself included, reported on various stories throughout Panama. While there, I created a video documenting the monumental experiences of Agar Tejada, the first woman in the territorial defense program that patrols and protects the indigenous Guna Yala region. 

Made during the second half of my Experimental Video Storytelling class in Spring 2021. Due to the recent uptick in Asian American hate crimes during COVID-19, I wanted to make a video showcasing the effects of this hate on the population. 

For my Experimental Video Storytelling class in Spring 2021, I produced a short documentary profiling Villá Mexico Cafe. Being from California, I was in search of good, authentic Mexican cuisine in Boston and stumbled upon them in Downtown, where they graciously shared their story with me. 

During the Summer of 2019, a group of students and I travelled to London for a few months where we filmed various documentaries. I collaborated with a smaller group of classmates to put together a piece about the effects of climate change in the UK and how it differs in the US. 

On The Husky Update, a team films a full news segment in an on campus studio and informs its audience of the most pressing issues on campus, across the country and around the world. 

NUTV hosts a bi-weekly news broadcast, called The Husky Update. This was my first time as an anchor, where I learned scripting, camera operation and production.
